For the admission to PART-TIME Diploma programmes it is an added requirement that a candidate must have been employed for at least one year as skilled technicians .for applicants having passed Xth from Maharashtra and three years for applicants from other state. Admission to certificate courses will be as per the norms setup by the institute.

  • Maharashtra State Candidates only are eligible for admission to First year of diploma courses in Engineering / Technology:

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the SSC (Std.X) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.

Minimum 35% marks in Best of 5 aggregate for candidates of all categories.

Note:

  • The term 'aggregate marks' used here shall mean the grand total marks obtained by the candidate, taken together for best 5 subjects.
  • Best of 5 aggregate marks in case of candidates who have passed qualifying exam on or before 2009 shall be decided by selecting any 5 subjects in which maximum marks are scored.
  • ICSE candidates shall have following options
    • Out of 6 subjects comprising of 4 subjects from Group 1 and 2 subjects from Group 2, best of 5 subject's marks shall be considered for Admission / Merit.
    • All 7 subject's marks shall be considered for Admission / Merit in case of seeking benefit of marks of subjects from Group 3.
  • For CBSE Candidates :- if the marks are given in the form of Grade points then equivalents % of marks shall be calculated as follows
    • The CGPA is the average of Grade Points obtained in all the subjects excluding additional 6th subject as per Scheme of Studies.
    • Subject wise indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x GP of the Subject.
    • Overall indicative percentage of marks = 9.5 x CGPA
  • ICSE and CBSE Candidates are required to provide equivalent marks authorized from the concerned Institute / Board in case of marks given in Grades.
  • Candidates passing SSC Examination from Maharashtra Board having included marks for Sports etc. in Grand Total mentioned in the mark sheet shall be considered.
  • Any Amendments / Acts / Judgments which may be published by Government / Hon. Courts of India from time to time will be applicable to Candidates and Institutes covered under these rules of admission.
  • Marks filled by the candidates shall be converted to out of 550, for preparing merit list.

  1. S.S.C. Marksheet
  2. VIII, IX std. Marksheet or Proforma Z(available at Institute) if VIII and IX Marks sheets not available.
  3. Leaving certificate of institute last attended
  4. H.S.C / MCVC Marksheet & leaving certificate if applicable
  5. Certificate of passing intermediate Grade Drawing examination if applicable
  6. Indian nationality certificate / leaving certificate indicating Indian nationality / birth certificate indicating place of birth in India / Indian passport of the candidate issued by appropriate authorities.
  7. Affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. 100/- in the name of candidate of completed 18 years of age (Proforma 'P') OR in the name of parent if candidate is below 18 years of age (Proforma 'Q'), that they belong to linguistic minority.
  8. Certificate from a registered community organization on their letterhead stating that the candidate belongs to Gujarati speaking community (Proforma 'O')
  9. Medical fitness certificate in Proforma 'R'
  10. Domicile certificate in the name of candidate. (Not applicable if Birth certificate / School leaving certificate indicates birth of candidate in Maharashtra state)
  11. DTE Registration Slip.

 

Documents required for General candidates. (Institute level admission)

  • All as mentioned above except 7 & 8
  • Candidate is required to be personally present at the time of admission.

Candidates are required to submit

  • Attested copies of all documents at the time of submission of application form
  • All original documents at the time of confirmation of admission i.e. payment of fee
