-Aug-2014-Dr. N Chandrashekhar from THI conducted a course on Marketing Sales for the students of PGDM-Marketing, MMS-Marketing, and PGDM-Retail Management at SIMSR

 -November 2014-Prof.Paul Marer Professor of International Business from Central European University Budapest was a resident at Somaiya Vidyavihar from 3rd to 30th November 2014. He conducted an IB course for 60 MBAs and 6 EMBAs (24 class contact hours),

-Nov-2014-Dr. Satish Ailawadi  visited University of Applied Sciences Steyr, Austria for teaching a course on "Logistics and sales", to the 5th semester Global Sales and Marketing Bachelor program

-December 2014-Prof Dirk Hartel Course Director Business Administration at DHBW our partner institute in Stuttgart visited our campus. He participated in the SIMSR Global Conference in the area of Supply Chain Management with the Theme - Derisking Supply Chain in Global Environment.
His paper was titled Future Challenges, Risks and Solution Approaches in Global Supply Chain Management.
